Ταχύτερη γυναίκα στον κόσμο η Τζέφερσον

Η Αμερικανίδα Τζέφερσον με ρεκόρ αγώνων (10.61) ήταν η μεγάλη νικήτρια στην «κούρσα της μίας ανάσας», των 100μ του Παγκοσμίου πρωταθλήματος στίβου που διεξάγεται στο Τόκυο. Πρόκειται για την 4η καλύτερη επίδοση όλων των εποχών!

 

Πίσω από την παγκόσμια πρωταθλήτρια τερμάτισε η Τίνα Κλέιτον από την Τζαμάικα με 10.76 (ασημένιο μετάλλιο), ενώ στην τρίτη θέση βρέθηκε η Τζούλιεν Αλφρεντ από την Αγία Λουκία με 10.84 (χάλκινο).
