Τρία χρόνια μετά το καρδιακό επεισόδιο που υπέστη στην πρεμιέρα της Δανίας στο Euro 2020, στο «Πάρκεν» της Κοπεγχάγης κόντρα στη Φινλανδία, δήλωσε «παρών» στο φετινό τουρνουά με τον καλύτερο δυνατό τρόπο!

Ο μέσος της Μάντσεστερ Γιουνάιτεντ, ήταν αυτός που στο 17ο λεπτό του ματς κόντρα στη Σλοβενία σκόραρε για την εθνική του ομάδα, 1100 ημέρες μετά το συμβάν που «πάγωσε» τον ποδοσφαιρικό πλανήτη ανοίγοντας το σκορ μετά από ονειρεμένη ασίστ του Βιντ με τακουνάκι.
