Η Ελλάδα θα αποπληρώσει πρόωρα, το 2025, ακόμα 5 δισεκατομμύρια ευρώ που είχε δανειστεί στο πλαίσιο του πρώτου μνημονίου, όπως ανέφερε ο πρωθυπουργός, Κυριάκος Μητσοτάκης, στο πλαίσιο εκδήλωσης του πρακτορείου Bloomberg με τίτλο «The New Era of Greek Banking», στο ξενοδοχείο Μεγάλη Βρετανία. «Τα συγκεκριμένα δάνεια είναι προγραμματισμένο να ωριμάσουν μεταξύ 2033 και 2042», πρόσθεσε.

 

«Η νέα πρόωρη αποπληρωμή, σε συνέχεια της πρόωρης εξόφλησης δανείων ύψους 8 δισ. ευρώ από το πρώτο μνημόνιο που αναμένεται να ολοκληρωθεί τον Δεκέμβριο στέλνει ένα ξεκάθαρο μήνυμα στις αγορές σχετικά με την προσήλωση της Ελλάδας στη δημοσιονομική σταθερότητα και τη μείωση του δημόσιου χρέους», τόνισε ο πρωθυπουργός.
