Πέθανε ο Ρόμπερτ Ρέντφορντ

Ο Ρόμπερτ Ρέντφορντ, ένα είδωλο του αμερικανικού κινηματογράφου, πέθανε σήμερα το πρωί στη Γιούτα σε ηλικία 89 ετών, ανέφερε η εφημερίδα New York Times, επικαλούμενη τον εκπρόσωπό του. 

 

Ηθοποιός, σκηνοθέτης, παραγωγός, ένθερμος υποστηρικτής του ανεξάρτητου κινηματογράφου που προωθούσε μέσω του Sundance Institute, οικολόγος με ακτιβιστική δράση, επί έξι δεκαετίες ενσάρκωνε μια λαμπρή πλευρά της Αμερικής.

 

Πρωταγωνίστησε σε σπουδαίες κλασικές ταινίες όπως οι «Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid» (1969), «The Sting» (1973) και «All the President's Men» (1976).
