Pole position για τον Φερστάπεν και στο Sprint Shootout

Ο πρωτοπόρος του πρωταθλήματος της Φόρμουλα Ένα, Μαξ Φερστάπεν, μαζί με τον Σέρχιο Πέρες έκαναν το «1-2» για τη Red Bull, ενόψει του σημερινού (1/7) Sprint Shootout του αυστριακού γκραν πρι. 

Ο δύο φορές παγκόσμιος πρωταθλητής σημείωσε τον ταχύτερο γύρο (1 λεπτό και 04.440 δευτερόλεπτα) και θα εκκινήσει από την πρώτη θέση στον αγώνα σπριντ, πανηγυρίζοντας τη δεύτερη pole position μέσα σε λίγες ώρες (είχε προηγηθεί η χθεσινή για τον κυρίως αγώνα που είναι προγραμματισμένος για τις 2/7).

Ο Πέρες ήταν σχεδόν μισό δευτερόλεπτο πιο αργός από τον Φερστάπεν, ενώ την τρίτη θέση κατέκτησε ο Λάντο Νόρις της McLaren και την τέταρτη ο Νίκο Χούλκενμπεργκ της Haas.
