Moto GP: Θρίαμβος Μαρτίν στην Ταϊλάνδη

Ο Χόρχε Μαρτίν (Ducati-Pramac), έκανε ένα τέλειο Σαββατοκύριακο στο Grand Prix της Ταϊλάνδης, όταν ο νικητής της pole και του σπριντ κέρδισε έναν συναρπαστικό αγώνα σήμερα (29/10), μειώνοντας τη διαφορά από τον πρωτοπόρο του πρωταθλήματος Φραντσέσκο Μπανιάια (Ducati) στους 13 βαθμούς.

 Ο Ισπανός οδηγός τερμάτισε μπροστά από τον Μπράντ Μπίντερ (KTM ) και τον Φραντσέσκο Μπανιάια μετά από μια έντονη μάχη για τις τρεις πρώτες θέσεις. Αλλά ο Μπίντερ υποβιβάστηκε σε μια θέση για υπέρβαση των ορίων πίστας, που σημαίνει ότι τερμάτισε τρίτος πίσω από την Μπανιάια.

 Ο Μαρτίν σημείωσε ρεκόρ γύρου όταν εξασφάλισε pole το Σάββατο και προηγήθηκε από την αρχή μέχρι το τέλος, κερδίζοντας την πέμπτη συνεχόμενη νίκη του στο σπριντ της σεζόν. Ο Ισπανός προηγήθηκε για το μεγαλύτερο μέρος του αγώνα σήμερα (29/10) πριν παραχωρήσει το προβάδισμα σε τέσσερις γύρους πριν το τέλος.

 Αλλά στον προτελευταίο γύρο, ο Μαρτίν είδε ένα κενό για να κάνει μια τολμηρή προσπέραση στο εσωτερικό και ο Μπίνερ δεν είχε άλλη επιλογή από το να παραχωρήσει το προβάδισμα καθώς ο Ισπανός είδε να πέφτει η καρό σημαία.

 Έτσι μετά από δύο απογοητευτικά Grand Prix, στην Ινδονησία και την Αυστραλία, ο «Martinator» ανέκτησε την αίγλη του σε μια από τις ταχύτερες πίστες της σεζόν.
