H Παναγιώτου το δεύτερο χρυσό για την Ελλάδα στο Ευρωπαϊκό Ολυμπιακό Φεστιβάλ Νέων

Το δεύτερο χρυσό μετάλλιο πανηγυρίζει η Ελλάδα στο Ευρωπαϊκό Ολυμπιακό Φεστιβάλ Νέων, στη Σλοβακία. Η καταπληκτική Εβίνα Παναγιώτου αναδείχθηκε πρώτη στο άλμα επι κοντώ με άλμα 3,95, που αποτελεί ατομικό ρεκόρ.

 

Η Παναγιώτου, που ταξίδεψε στη Μπάνσκα Μπίτριτσα με επίδοση 3,80 και έκλεισε τα 16 πριν από τρεις ημέρες, ήταν σε εξαιρετική φόρμα και πέρασε με την πρώτη τα 3,60, 3,70, 3,80, 3,90 και 3,95 και απέτυχε στα 4 μέτρα.

 

Άφησε στη δεύτερη θέση την Μέζαρος από την Ουγγαρία που ξεπέρασε επίσης τα 3,95 αλλά με την τρίτη προσπάθεια, ενώ το χάλκινο μετάλλιο πήρε με 3,80 η Σίμκοβα από τη Σλοβακία.

 

Είναι το δεύτερο μετάλλιο για την Ελλάδα στο EYOF 2022, μετά το επίσης χρυσό του Γιάννη Γκάρτσιου στο άλμα εις τριπλούν.
