Όρεγκον 2022: Ο Κέρλι το χρυσό στα 100μ

Σε... αμερικανική υπόθεση εξελίχθηκε ο τελικός των 100μ του Παγκοσμίου Πρωταθλήματος του Όρεγκον, με τον Φρεντ Κέρλι να «κλέβει» στα τελευταία τρία μέτρα το χρυσό μετάλλιο από το συμπατριώτη του, Μάρβιν Μπρέισι, ενώ στην τρίτη θέση βρέθηκε ο Τρέιβον Μπρομέλ.

Στην «κούρσα της μίας ανάσας» οι Αμερικανοί ήταν κυρίαρχοι από τους προκριματικούς και πιστοποίσαν την ανωτερότητά τους στο μεγάλο τελικό του αγωνίσματος τα ξημερώματα της Κυριακής (17/07).

Μεγάλος νικητής ήταν ο Φρεντ Κέρλι ο οποίος ανέβηκε στο ψηλότερο σκαλί του βάθρου... πάνω στο νήμα με χρόνο 9.86, αφήνοντας πίσω του τους Μπρέισι και Μπρομέλ που κάλυψαν την απόσταση με τον ίδιο ακριβώς χρόνο (9.88).
