Πρόκριση για Τσιτσιπά στη Βιέννη

Πρεμιέρα με νίκη πραγματοίησε ο Στέφανος Τσιτσιπάς στο τουρνουά της Βιέννης. Ο Έλληνας πρωταθλητής του τένις επικράτησε 7-6 (5), 6-4 του Ντομινίκ Τιμ και προκρίθηκε στον β΄ γύρο της διοργάνωσης, όπου θα αντιμετωπίσει τον Τσέχο, Τόμας Μάχατς. 

Ο Τσιτσιπάς νίκησε τον Αυστριακό Νο99 της Παγκόσμιας Κατάταξης της ATP μετά από ένα συγκλόνιστικό πρώτο σετ, όπου βρέθηκε πίσω με 6-5 στο τάι μπρέικ. Όμως με δύο συνεχόμενους πόντους (ο πρώτος «σπάζοντας» το σερβίς του Τιμ) πήρε το σετ, ενώ στο δεύτερο τα πράγματα εξελίχθηκαν πιο εύκολα.
