Πάει Παρίσι ο Καραλής

 Τη συμμετοχή του στους Ολυμπιακούς Αγώνες του Παρισιού το 2024 εξασφάλισε απόψε (4/8) ο Εμμανουήλ Καραλής, αφού ξεπέρασε τα 5,82 στο επί κοντώ στο μίτινγκ στίβου του Γιόκριμ στη Γερμανία και «έπιασε» το σχετικό όριο για την κορυφαία αθλητική διοργάνωση.

 Ο 24χρονος Έλληνας πρωταθλητής, ο οποίος βελτίωσε το ατομικό του ρεκόρ στον ανοικτό στίβο (ήταν 5,80μ. από τους Ολυμπιακούς Αγώνες του Τόκιο), ξεπέρασε με την πρώτη τα 5,71 και τα 5,82, όμως απέτυχε και στις τρεις προσπάθειες στα 5,91, παίρνοντας τελικά τη δεύτερη θέση.

 Ο Πιότρ Λίσεκ ήταν πρώτος με το ίδιο ύψος, αλλά με καλύτερες συνολικά προσπάθειες, ενώ στην τρίτη θέση ήταν ο Ματ Λούντβιγκ με 5,71.
