Η βροχή δεν εμπόδισε τον Φεστάπεν

Ούτε η βροχή, ούτε η διακοπή, κανένας παράγοντας δεν μπορεί να... φρενάρει τον Μαξ Φερστάπεν, ο οποίος ήταν ο μεγάλος νικητής και στο γκραν πρι της Ολλανδίας. 

Ο οδηγός της Ρεντ Μπουλ πανηγύρισε στην πατρίδα του την 9η διαδοδική νίκη στο παγκόσμιο πρωτάθλημα, ισοφαρίζοντας με αυτό τον τρόπο το ρεκόρ που κρατούσε ο Σεμπάστιαν Φέτελ από το 2013, όταν επιστρέφοντας από την καλοκαιρινή διακοπή είχε περάσει πρώτος την καρό σημαία για 9ο συνεχόμενο αγώνα.

Ο Φερστάπεν εκκίνησε πρώτος στο σημερινό γκραν πρι, διαχειρίστηκε όπως έπρεπε τα όσα συνέβησαν στη διάρκειά του και στο φινάλε ήταν αυτός που πήρε τη νίκη, αφήνοντας πίσω του τον Φερνάντο Αλόνσο (Άστον Μάρτιν) και τον Πιερ Γκασλί (Αλπάιν), ο οποίος εκμεταλλεύτηκε την ποινή των 5 δευτερολέπτων του Σέρχιο Πέρεζ και ανέβηκε στο πόντιουμ μη επιτρέποντας στη Ρεντ Μπουλ να κάνει το 1-3.

Λίγους γύρους πριν από το τέλος η δυνατή βροχή ανάγκασε τους διοργανωτές να διακόψουν το γκραν πρι της Ολλανδίας για περίπου 45 λεπτά. Ο αγώνας ξεκίνησε και πάλι, με τον Μαξ Φερστάπεν να περνά πρώτος την καρό σημαία για 9η σερί φορά στη διάρκεια του παγκοσμίου πρωταθλήματος και να κάνει ακόμη ένα βήμα για τον τρίτο διαδοχικό τίτλο του.

Η σημερινή ήταν η 11η νίκη για τον Ολλανδό οδηγό της Ρεντ Μπουλ.
