Άνετη πρόκριση για την Αταλάντα

 

Την νικηφόρα της πορεία συνέχισε απτόητη η Αταλάντα και στο Κύπελλο Ιταλίας.

Η προσεχής αντίπαλος του Ολυμπιακού στη φάση των «32» του Europa League  επιβλήθηκε εύκολα με2-0 της Βενέτσια και εξασφάλισε το εισιτήριο της πρόκρισης για την προημιτελική φάση της δεύτερης τη τάξει διοργάνωσης.

Το συγκρότημα του Μπέργκαμο άνοιξε το σκορ μόλις 12ο λεπτό με τον Κολομβιανό επιθετικό Μουριέλ, ενώ οι φιλοξενούμενοι προσπάθησαν να αντιδράσουν, χωρίς όμως να βρίσκουν τρόπο να απειλήσουν την εστία του γκολκίπερ Μούσο.

Ανώτερη και στο δεύτερο ημίχρονο η Αταλάντα, «κλείδωσε» τη νίκη-πρόκριση λίγο πριν τη λήξη της αναμέτρησης (89'), όταν μετά από ιδανική αντεπίθεση οι γηπεδούχοι συνδυάστηκαν υπέροχα και ο Μέλε διαμόρφωσε το τελικό 2-0.
