«Έσβησε» ο Μπόμπι Τσάρλτον στα 86 του χρόνια

Το αγγλικό, αλλά ασφαλώς και το παγκόσμιο ποδόσφαιρο θρηνεί την απώλεια του Σερ Μπόμπι Τσάρλτον.

Ένας από τους πιο σπουδαίους παίκτες που έβγαλε το Νησί, «έφυγε» από τη ζωή σε ηλικία 86 ετών. Το 2020 είχε διαγνωσθεί με άνοια.

Συνέδεσε το όνομά του με τη Μάντσεστερ Γιουνάιτεντ σε συλλογικό επίπεδο, αποτελώντας προϊόν των ακαδημιών της. Αγωνίστηκε από το 1956 έως το 1973 με την πρώτη ομάδα, με το κοντέρ να γράφει 758 συμμετοχές (με τον Γκιγκις να τον ξεπερνάει το 2008)με 249 γκολ.
